In the name of God amen I Josiah SULLENS of the parish of Antrim
in the County of Halifax being sick and weake in body but of sound and perfect
memory thanks be to God for the same and knowing the uncertainty of this Earthly
Life do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form
following vis. first and principally I recommend my Sole to God who gave it
trusting in his mercies and in the merits of my dearce Redeemer for the
Remission of all my sins desireing My Body may be Decently intored at the discretsion
of my Exr. heareafter Named and as to the temporal estate that it pleas'd almighty
God to bestow upon me I do desire that as much of my household Goods and Stock
Should be sold as will pay my Just debts; Item I desire that what is left of
paying my debts my Wife may have it I desire also that my Wife may have
the land wheare I now live during her widowhood or 'til my Youngest son comes of
age and then to be sold or if my Wife marries before my youngest sun comes of
age and then to be sold and the money to be eaquelly divided between my three Suns
Zaccariah, Jesse, and Joseph and my Wife Lavinia. I leave my Brother John
SULLENS Exr. as Witness my hand this 31st day of January 1773

This will was presented in Court by John SULLINS the Executor herein named
who made oath hereto, and the same being proved by the Oath of two of the
Witnesses hereto, was ordered to be recorded and on the motion of the said Executor
Certificate was granted him for obtaining a probat hereof in due form. Nathan
SULLINS, John CARMICHAEL and Duncan CARMICHAEL became his Securities and
they entered into and acknowledged bond according to Law.
