Because of British influence, the operating room was called the "major theatre." Here Dr. Farrar and soon-to-be "Doctor" Cole were performing a surgical operation.
Though the operating room was not well-equipped, we were able to perform about 30 surgeries while we were there. I would do the operation with Dr. Farrar assisting or I would assist him while Dan was providing the anesthesia.
