Safe sex is a myth

The June 1993 issue of "Social Science and Medicine" reports that a University of Texas study found that when condoms are used for "safe sex," the risk of acquiring HIV from an infected partner is greater than 30 percent over a year's time. The media and sex educators have apparently been ignoring this data. The only protection from AIDS is sexual abstinence or remaining faithful to a single, uninfected sexual partner for life.
