Kingdom already here     In your column of March 10, you perhaps misquoted a local preacher as stating, "When the Kingdom of God is established, there won't be any need for elections."     I understand from reading my Bible that the Kingdom was established many centuries ago. In Mark 9:1, Jesus told His audience, "There are some standing here who will not taste death before they see that the Kingdom of God has come with power." In Colossians 1:13, Paul told the Christians that they had already been transferred into the Kingdom of Christ.     Those who are still waiting for a physical manifestation of the Kingdom must be ignoring that Jesus said in John 18:36, "My Kingdom is not of this world." This spiritual Kingdom is already in existence. Christ is already sitting on the throne with all power. (Acts 2:30, Hebrews 12:2, Matthew 28:18) Michael S.
