December 2002

Holiday greetings to all our friends and family,

It is hard to believe that another year has almost passed. We think of you often, but far too infrequently communicate with you. We hope this message finds you in good health and good spirits. The Lord continues to bless us with an abundance of food, clothing, shelter, and people who care about us.

Michael is busy at work, at church, with writing Web pages, or tracing the family tree. He has been the family doctor in a small-town practice in Roland, Oklahoma, for over 15 years.

Jeannie is in her second (and last) year as Arkansas PTA President. She remains on the Fort Smith School Board. Jeannie is on several state committees and advisory boards related to education and children’s issues in Arkansas. She often travels around the state and around the country.

We led our 12th annual medical mission team to Guyana, South America, in June. In July we spent a week in Little Rock, where Michael attended the state family physician convention. In October we spent a fun week in San Diego, attending the convention of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Angelique is working full time as a secretary for the Preston Road Church of Christ in Dallas. She has been attending her final college class one day a week and should have her bachelor’s degree in Bible before Christmas. Greg is in his sophomore year of medical school. In May they bought a nice house in Coppell.

Steven is in his junior year at Harding University, where he is majoring in computer engineering. In September he gave his high school friend, Louise Coffman, an engagement ring. Her parents live just a few blocks from us. Louise should graduate in May with a degree in Spanish. We’re looking forward to their wedding on 31 May 2003.

We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a New Year that is filled with happiness for you and all those you love.

Love,

Michael & Jeannie
